20 Years of Dedication

In the heart of the Three Hills community, there’s one name that always brings a smile — Andrew. Ask anyone in town, and you’re sure to hear a story about his kindness, his faith, or his ever-present smile. Andrew’s caring heart has touched countless lives, making him a true pillar of his community.

Andrew’s journey began 20 years ago at IGA, back when “supported employment” was still a new idea to many. From the very beginning, Andrew proved that hard work, consistency, and a positive spirit can make a lasting impact. Over the years — and through three changes in ownership — each new owner was eager to keep Andrew on the team, recognizing not just his strong work ethic, but the joy he brings to others.

Throughout his time at IGA, Andrew has done it all: stocking the dairy cooler, bagging groceries, and even delivering orders to neighbors around town. When the pandemic hit, Andrew stepped up once again — sanitizing carts and helping keep everyone safe. No matter the task, he approaches his work with dedication and pride.

In February of 2024, the community gathered to celebrate Andrew’s 20th work anniversary, and the love and appreciation shown that day spoke volumes. Friends, co workers, and customers came together to honor the same man who has spent two decades quietly serving them with kindness and grace.

If you ever find yourself in Three Hills, stop by the IGA on a Thursday or Friday morning — you’ll find Andrew hard at work, greeting customers with a warm smile and a kind word. Meet him once, and you’ll have a friend for life… and a place in his prayers.

Andrew’s story reminds us that dedication isn’t just about years of service — it’s about the heart you bring to everything you do.
