Joyful Noise Choir

Choir Overview

For many years, the Joyful Noise Choir has been a vibrant partner of Rehoboth Christian Ministries. In communities across Alberta, these young singers participate in church worship services, and help raise awareness of Rehoboth and the people we serve.

The Joyful Noise Choir, directed by Rein Selles, consists of 63 children divided in two sections – a junior choir (Grades 2-3) and an intermediate and senior choir (Grades 4-8). Children are drawn from Churches and Christian schools in the Edmonton area, and the choir season runs from September to January (Registration occurs in the spring; more information can be found on the JNC website).

Joyful Noise celebrated their 40th Anniversary in the fall of 2018 with a concert at the West End Christian Reformed Church in Edmonton. The concert featured the current choir along with the JNC Alumni Choir and Director.

Over the years, Joyful Noise has offered several recording compilations. Many of which, are available for purchase from Rehoboth Christian Ministries. Copies are limited. The most recent CD is "Many Voices One Song" ‚Äčand was recorded live with an Irish instrumental ensemble.
